A second opinion that shows its work
A useful second opinion should show its work. Anyone can suggest another medication; the question is why that one, and on what evidence from your particular history. The MIND FIRST second opinion is a re-reading of your entire treatment record — every trial as a data point — concluding in a written, evidence-cited formulation you can take anywhere.
Who asks for one
People on five medications no one remembers the reason for. People whose diagnosis has changed three times. People about to accept a major treatment — lithium, clozapine, ECT, ketamine — who want the decision audited first. Families who want a complex situation read freshly. Physicians, for themselves.
What you receive
A 90-minute evaluation; a Brain Map of your medication history; where indicated, sleep analysis from your own wearable data and at-home neuropsychological testing; and a formulation that states, in plain language, what your history supports, what it rules out, and what a rational next step would be — with the reasoning visible. You may bring it back to your treating psychiatrist; continuity of your existing care is respected, not competed with.
